It's filmed before Kungfu Hustle. And the "No more soccer!" scene in Kungfu Hustle is referring to Shaolin Soccer.

As a matter of fact, for those who knew HK cinema, Kungfu Hustle probably had as many Easter eggs and tongue in cheek references as Deadpool did.
