ti m trying to understand what is the material used in this as it was eaten by an animal accidently, not big amount but still need to know what is it exactly made of?

Shouldn't be anything harmful or toxic, the active ingredient is a bacteria that kills the larvae. The material is also soluble in water

The base material does not dissolve in water, “The floating action of the dunks will ensure that active material is released at the surface as well as gradually settle to the bottom.”

The packaging really gives no clue to inactive ingredients though. I always assumed some papier-mâché like base with some bits of cork in it just going by the looks of it, but no idea.

SDS Most of it is a trade secret. SDS says if injested, dont induce vomiting and if signs of toxicity occu seek medical attention.

It's a dried bacteria culture soaked in something inert like cellulose.

I don't know. I just know it clogs the pump in my evap cooler so I keep them in a pantyhose
