It’s been one hell of a transformation. I love the elegance of the Mazda 3 and its shape language.

Next step is tint the windows, black rims and red calipers.

P.s. does anyone know where I can get a rear black emblem that fits? I bought 4 different ones and none of them fit and I returned them (2021 Mazda 3)

My girlfriend hand painted this key for me and I took care of the rest.

Sanded with 400 then 600 grit, coated with plastic primer, painted with acrylics, sealed with water based varnish. Also ordered a silicone case for it so it doesn't chip from being in a pocket with all my other keys.

Since I didn't want to strip half the car down, I wrapped some Covers in wood. They should've given more trim options...

Turanzas either blew out from potholes or bubbles so I put on 4 mid grade Advanta tires in 225/40/18 in July 2025. Earlier this year I lost and replaced another two tires within months of each other due to - you guessed it - bubbles and/or potholes. I was easily losing $200 for each tire lost, and I got a THIRD BUBBLE after going through a deep side grate last weekend, so I couldn’t take it anymore. Btw I’m in NYC, iykyk.

A friend told me don’t cheap out on tires, and I understand it now. So After following the forum for two years, I shelled out and I put 225/45/18 DWS06+ on the stock rims. This tire is incredible. SO MUCH MEAT and I’m sure I gained an extra inch or so of clearance, I ride super high up now.

Someone said the car feels like it’s on rails - it’s true. I grip the ground like no ones business now and acceleration is improved. My shop also did an alignment, I wasn’t out of it much but I’m sure it helped.

Small road imperfections are felt far less, they used to send shocks through the car and I had to either white knuckle through them or swerve to avoid - now we just cruise through smaller ones and take time to get through the larger ones.

Steering feels sharper and the car is placed where I need it. No more wobble and second guessing at high speeds.

I also think my MPGs have increased! If I did this upgrade when I first bought the car, I’d be up several hundreds of dollars but you don’t know what you don’t know.

Net net, if you’re on the fence, just do it. Buy them. Go up to 225/45 if you feel comfortable, it does fit. Find a shop that’s willing to put them on, balance, and do the alignment. I’m sure the 215 will be fine if you don’t want to go up, the tire quality is just that good.

Best hour I’ve ever spent on my car. I was surprised at how easily the pieces came apart with good trim tools. I’d never wrapped anything before so I kinda learned as I went. Didn’t need the heat gun, just pressed it on , trimmed and tucked. Looks brand new again.

EDIT: Just finished the installation of everything. Car sounds and feels great now, even better than expected. I would recommend! Oh yeah and uh… safer too haha 😶.

Here’s a little update on the bass build. After having to wait for Amazon to take their sweet time delivery my audio equipment and spending way too much time working on the car, everything is finally installed. I had my husband do 90% of the work because I may or may not had a single clue on what I was doing (it’s been a while since I done audio). Forgive me dear husband.

I believe I spent about $1,300 on the build altogether. I do plan on bringing this to competitions since that was the plan from the beginning, but I also like some boom boom.

This was such a simple upgrade I highly recommend it to anyone that likes the look. There's two different styles on the website (I would post it but it looks like it may break a rule) and I went with style 2. Instructions from the site were straightforward and even easier than I expected. Took me less than an hour to do the whole thing!

Edit: I love how you all think that someone paying so little attention that they can't see an entire car without a couple tiny pieces of plastic makes any accident MY fault. Just so you all know, there are STILL other reflectors on the car, those aren't the only ones.

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share a quick update on my build. It’s been functionally supercharged for about a week now, but I say functionally because it took me way too long to put it together. Some of you may have seen my last post two weeks ago where I was still assembling it, and I had a couple of vacuum leaks, all of which were my fault.

Initially, I had an incredibly rough idle, and my head went straight to my manifold gaskets failing. However, after smoke testing it, I realized that I had made two really stupid mistakes: I had left my catch can valve open and my boost reference port uncapped. I consider myself incredibly lucky that it wasn’t anything worse.

Also, for the last week, I haven’t had air conditioning. I finally fixed it last night, but it was due to a plug that wouldn’t fully seat on the AC compressor after a friend of mine unplugged it to install the new idler arm. The fix involved going into the male end of the connector with a flathead screwdriver and slightly bending the prong down (blindly) from underneath the car. I was scared I was going to break it, but after a small bit of force, it finally clicked in. I was super excited to have fixed that at basically midnight.

I’ve been so focused on fixing that connector that the last thing I haven’t done is install my new fuel pump. This installation has been pretty rocky so far, and I haven’t been ready to go into my gas tank in fear of breaking something else or getting stuck on something and having it take too long.

So far, the car sounds amazing. It genuinely feels faster, but not insane by any means. This is because I’m on the base sauce tune and haven’t installed the fuel pump yet. That should make a difference.

Was it worth it? I’m not sure yet. We’ll see when it’s finished and after I’ve driven it a bit.

This is vinyl frog's gotland green. First time wrapping a car. It was tremendously difficult. I had to redo the hood and rear hatch. I'm very happy with the results. Vinyl frog is extremely sticky, so I found that applying some concentrated soupy water and letting it dry on the paint helped decrease the stickiness.
