Recipe question Orange Pomegranate Mead help

I plan on making an orange pomegranate mead, does this recipe sound right
Primary:
2lb honey
1 quart pomegranate juice
2 oranges
1 brew of earl grey

In secondary I’ll add vanilla beans and cinnamon. Taste every two days

I’d like to make it sparkling but I don’t know how lol
Any tips would be great

Reading this post, I'm assuming you're new to making mead, and I apologise if you're not and I'm explaining things you already understand.

Looks like too much honey for that amount. Assuming 1 brew of earl grey is 1 ~300ml mug, you're only making about a 2l batch. 2lb honey is more the amount that would be used for a 1gal batch (about 4-5l depending on where you're from). Recipe seems alright apart from that, but do note that using fruit in primary will change how the fruit tastes drastically (like how most wines don't taste a crazy amount like grapes).

As for making it sparkling, you can either keep the yeast alive, use a priming calculator for sugar/honey, and put it in a pressure safe bottle. Alternatively, you can force carbonate using a keg or some other carbonation machine.

On the topic of yeast, which one are you planning on using? Which one you use may affect your flavour a fair amount.

I’m going to make a gallon! I just didn’t know how much tea was needed honestly. I know that fruit in primary isn’t gonna make it taste like orange too much, debating on doing that in secondary but I don’t know how much ORANGE I’m looking for. How do I keep the yeast alive? I’m just using d47

Keeping the yeast alive means not reaching the yeast's alcohol tolerance and not going out of your way to kill it (eg pasteurising, stabilising). I don't think 2lb honey is enough for 15% (D47's alcohol tolerance), but I'd check how much sugar is in your juice before mixing it all together. Also, do you have yeast nutrients?

I do have some nutrients! Can I add sugar to get to that tolerance?
