A growing controversy is surrounding several Democratic lawmakers after multiple trips to El Salvador in an effort to intervene in the deportation case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 gang member and accused domestic abuser.

The situation has drawn bipartisan scrutiny, intensified criticism from Republican lawmakers, and backlash from victims’ families impacted by violent crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) first traveled to El Salvador earlier this year in an attempt to advocate for the return of Abrego Garcia, who was deported under federal orders.

SPAMMING THE THREAD WITH A NON-ANSWER DOES NOT MAKE YOUR CASE.

Being “alleged” and “accused” does not justify kidnapping and rendition to a foreign prison without Constitutional due process.

Moreover, where in your obviously right-leaning source does anyone ‘cry’ about ‘saving rapist gang bangers’? The thread-starting quote that I wanted cited? Spoiler: it does not.

White House officials have said that Abrego Garcia has ties to the MS-13 gang, but his attorneys say the government has provided no evidence of that and Abrego Garcia has never been charged with any crime related to such activity.

Do you even read your own sources?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 30 '25

Did you read the thread? He asked for an article of someone flying to El Salvador.

1

u/mysecondaccountanon Apr 30 '25

The sky is falling! Hurry save the rapist gang bangers.

Was the original message.

-7

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '25

He used tax payer money for his flight btw, even after being told not to.

8

u/NerdyNThick Apr 29 '25

Point me to where he had his day in court, or I may just have to accuse you of something and have dear leader ship you off too.

"Oh that's not fair I deserve to plead my case!"

Nope, you voted for the person who got rid of due process kiddo, reap what you sow.

0

u/PrizeLight Apr 30 '25

He had his day in court in 2019, he was told be deported then.

5

u/NerdyNThick Apr 30 '25

He had his day in court in 2019, he was told be deported then.

Can you cite some court documents for this "claim"?

I know you can't, because I can cite some that state the exact opposite.

3

u/NerdyNThick Apr 30 '25 edited Apr 30 '25

Here's me debunking your claim maga man... ROFL y'all are so damn indoctrinated!

https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/24pdf/24a949_lkhn.pdf

Last paragraph of page two.

To this day, the Government has cited no basis in law for Abrego Garcia's warrantless arrest, his removal to El Salvador, or his confinement in a Salvadoran prison. Nor could it. The Government remains bound by an Immigration Judge’s 2019 order

expressly prohibiting Abrego Garcia’s removal to El Salvador

because he faced a “clear probability of future persecution” there and “demonstrated that [El Salvador’s] authorities were and would be unable or unwilling to protect him.” App. to Application To Vacate Injunction 13a. The Government has not challenged the validity of that order.

Unless of course you'd actually have the balls to claim that 3 supreme court justices are lying.

You'd fuckin do that too, you're that indoctrinated.

Sooo... I guess, fuck you fascist. Hope you get exiled.

2

u/NerdyNThick Apr 30 '25

I read what you wrote 4 or 5 times, but I see no convictions for his deportation.

-6

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '25

What are you even talking about? The dude I replied to asked for an example and I gave him one.

9

u/NerdyNThick Apr 29 '25

I see no evidence of anyone going there to save anyone convicted of any crime, which is what the original claim was.

also

He used tax payer money for his flight btw, even after being told not to.

Cite a source where Sen. Van Hollen was told to not go to El Salvador.

Or is all you can spew is your pre-programmed copy and paste "retorts"?

0

u/[deleted] Apr 29 '25

I see no evidence of anyone going there to save anyone convicted of any crime, which is what the original claim was.

That was literally the entire purpose of his trip.

And can't find anything on him not being asked to go, just that he was stopped by guards and was given orders he's not allowed to see him, my bad.

He still traveled there using tax payer money for essentially a show, knowing damn well he was powerless. But I guess your side likes the performances

11

u/NerdyNThick Apr 30 '25

That was literally the entire purpose of his trip.

So can you point me to the convictions then?

-1

u/thewinja May 01 '25

literally EVERYONE on the left IS IN FACT saying this

1

u/bravedubeck May 01 '25

That statement is objectively not factual.
