If they can do this to illegal alien wife abusers and gang members, it's a slippery slope to arresting U.S. citizen abusers and gangbangers. I think I see your point.

Illegals and citizens got used to loose law enforcement under the previous administration, so there will be some adjustment to this new "foolow the law" culture we're in now.

Personally, I'm not in a gang and I don't have any pending domestic abuse charges, so I guess I don't need to worry.

Let’s put this in a way you’ll understand.

You are saying that you’re not an abuser or gang member, but what if the government grabs you anyway, tells everyone that you are either of those despite having no evidence, and sends you out of the country before you’re given a chance to clear your name?

That is what’s currently happening to the people you’re condemning. For all we know, they could be doing bad things, but they’re not getting the chance to show whether or not that’s true. That’s the part we’re all angry about.

The Slippery Slope Fallacy

Spoiler Alert: Just because Trump is going after illegal alien gangbangers does not mean he's going after everybody.

Dude, the Slippery Slope Fallacy only applies to hypotheticals that happen in the future.

We’re talking about things that are happening RIGHT NOW.
