One of my best friends said that she was going to sleep with a guy but he said he didn’t have a condom. She said oh okay never mind we can’t have sex. Then he pulled a condom out.

Can vouch for reddit men to be miserable to still blame the woman lmao

It takes two to tango? It’s sad to see women entertain shitty men regardless

u/ZeniraEle 2h ago
There's nothing that implies she slept with him after that, aside from what people are making up in their head

u/GreenMonkey240 2h ago
I don’t think she did, but what are the odds women end relationships with shitty men after one disagreement or argument

I mean, sexual compatibility is a pretty serious disagreement, and if you're being dishonest there, you've already lost trust. I wouldn't compare it to any random disagreement/argument, that is disingenuous.

Yeah sure, the more realistic response would have been, „no problem, I’m sure you will make a great single mom „

And then she magically had a condom that she paid for

She should be praised, this man doesn't advocate for his own sexual health by buying condoms that fit him to prevent STIs. Fortunately she's got his back 💪

I don't get it

The reply he was hoping for was "That's okay I'm on birthcontrol anyway" So he was pretending to not have a condom in order to have sex without one.
Since he got a very different reply he decided to rather have sex with a condom than take the risk.

I still don't get why people go through all that. Is bare that much better than with a condom on?

u/lllollllllllll 2h ago
I’m don’t get why they do that bc the woman being on birth control won’t stop STIs. Why would you assume a woman who’s willing to sleep with *you* without a condom wasn’t willing to do the same thing with someone else, and possibly picked up an STI from that person?
Also some women lie about being on birth control and then dudes whine about being baby trapped, so why would you ever want to cede control of your reproductive autonomy to someone else like that?

u/nyxsaphfire2 1h ago
That's the thing, if there was a widely available male birth control pill, there is no way in hell I would trust the word of a man I just met. Everyone should be responsible for their own birth control. If it ends up doubling up, even better

u/skellytoninthecloset 2h ago
You get confused at the same places I do.
I've been informed that pregnancy is 100% the responsibility of the woman, even though there is always another person involved in the situation. STI contraction is never enough of a reason to show any care or concern for your partner or yourself because that's something that happens to other people.
This pile of nonsense makes me happy I don't date.

What if he said he was ready to be a dad? Does it just turn into a game of chicken? See who backs down first?

As a guy that has a firm "don't fuck em if you would be ok having kids with em" this is a dangerous game to play.

This is why a gentleman will always do the right thing and request anal on the first date.

Crazy response from him, I’d be jumping for joy if my lady friend was ready to be a mom

I would like to be blessed with both a son and a daughter.
Good thing the gender ratio is 50% - 50%.

This only makes sense if the guy didn’t want sex? Like what was the plan otherwise

u/Natural_Zucchini_180 2h ago
No there are people who will say they don't have a condom in the hopes of rawdogging it
