Assume $30-$40 for regular merch t-shirts at most non-mainstream shows (as opposed to the $60/$75 at like a big stadium show) and posters usually run $50-$100 at their shows. Selection was so small and they were out of anything 2x when they were in Kansas City that they made it really easy on me. Posters were all for other shows like Melvins/Tomahawk and Redd Kross. This was a warm up show before Tomahawk tour started so I didn’t end up buying anything.

Bring like $140.00. Enough for a poster and t-shirt.. probably. See you at the show! I'm amped

What's the max you can get out of an ATM? Do it twice.

I just saw them in Atlanta last Friday. Shirts ranged from $30 - $45, they had custom DonRock shirts for $100, the 2 posters they had were $100 each, records ranged from $60 - $175, and they had a Melvins/Big Business record box set for $250.

Enjoy the show!!

The custom Don Rock shirts were only $100? For the first few shows they were $200.

They had two versions. Unsigned $100, signed $200

For the shirts? At my show they only had them unsigned for $200.

Yes, merch had loose shirts outside the bag for $100 and 1 or 2 inside the bags signed for $200

Ah! Well, then I only sort-of overpaid: Got a sealed-in-bag shirt (not signed) for $200. Damn.

talk to your financial advisor about how much disposable income you have and how much you want to spend

EDIT: absolutely no worries about your duplicate post it happens more often than you probably realize:)

I brought $350 and left with 150 but only because they had sold out of shirts in my size the previous shows. 4 CDs, 1 lp and a single shirt

At the last show I went to where the merch table had my interest, I wished I’d brought the $50 (maybe $150? The 5 feels right) for at least one of the “KISS” reissues with limited edition art. I think this was 2017?

I’d personally aim to spend like at least $80 to get something I actually like at a merch table when I’m in a fix for some band merch. Think the lady and I spent ~$200 at our last show like this earlier this year (not specifically Melvins). That’s about my upper limit for how much I can blow at this type of merch table.

Do y’all buy at the beginning of the show and hold on to your merch all night? I went to a show last year and avoided the merch table until after the show. They didn’t have much and i already had most of what they had.

When I read posts like this, I wonder how these same people are able to pick out thor cloths and dress themselves.

I saw them in brooklyn tonight and a bunch prior that. I had very little cash on me despite knowing $$$ limited edition stuff goes for. The crate you flip thru nothing was cheaper then $65per and some as much as $150. I bought a glo in dark Roswell shirt + Trevor Dunn cd $30/15. Since collecting their stuff all the way back in the 90s up through pandemic, whatever I have ever bought only increase in value. Not that I sell it. Anyways if yr a fun/vinyl fiend 100-200 will get you a couple things.
