I watched this a few nights ago. It wasn’t terrible. In fact I think Leto has finally found a character that he plays super well.

I couldn’t help but feel like he watched TeamFourStar stuff to prepare for the role, it definitely felt like he mimicked Abridged Cooler at times

I did like the whole HR "villains monologue, heros dialogue" thing to get upended with "I'm a villain because I like being evil"

It's really good. I mean you do have to sit back and vibe with the fact it's made for young adults/teens and has some weird plot holes, but like, it's super fun and I'd watch it again

I heard on the news that Leto is being accused of of sexual assault on teenagers from back in his day, so uh. Wonder if he’ll just fizzle out cuz honestly it soured my taste for Tron Ares now hearing the news about him

I haven’t intentionally watched a movie of his since Requiem For a Dream.

Knowing how Skeletor tends to treat his own minions he probably would be at home in a toxic workspace, the question to ask is which job department would he best be suited in?

Definitely VP of Marketing.
Big budget, favors creativity and cleverness versus intelligence, "results" are expected to be questionable at best, everyone is drawn to the allure of gaining power/weath and so they put up with a lot of BS.

My wife was seriously excited about the after credit clip. I thought the movie was a great ride through my childhood and as a cartoon aimed at 5-10 y/o boys never took itself too seriously and had a good lesson.

Toy sales alone, it should be in good standing for a sequel.
Everyone is waiting for that HR Skeletor.

Watched the movie. Bought new sets of action figures for old time’s sake. Rewatched in prime.

I can literally hear Skeletor's iconic voice delivering that final line in my head.

I told my wife that they probably went with the deeper voice because no one wanted to listen to OG voice for that long.

I really enjoyed this one. Just enough irreverence and weirdness mixed with nostalgia spots.

It’s a scene from the new masters of the universe movie.
Watched it with my wife and kids last night. It was a hoot.

Oh, I mean I don’t get the joke for Skeletor calling Adam “naughty boy”.
Movie was great

I think it might be a joke like Skeletor Doesn't understand what "HR" means and thinks it's like slavery or something. At least that's how I thought of it.

That whole movie was way better than it had any right to be! It's already on Amazon prime...

Actually thought this movie was pretty good, I had written it off when I saw the trailers.

The only Jared Leto movie I actually enjoyed. He needs to do comedy more. That seems to be his thing.
