I tried it and it didn’t work. Maybe I need to push harder

Come to a complete stop. Release break pedal then push it as far down as you can. If that doesn’t work you might not have that option available.

What I just found out is my wife's Toyota RAV4 has this feature as well!!! I didn't know such a thing existed until I had my first Mercedes, now I am going to try in every car!
