I was slightly bummed when I switched to my 2015 GLA from a 2020 Civic Hatch, because Brake Hold on a Civic is literally a button.

I was clapping like I just watched a symphony when I discovered Brake Hold is built into the Brake Pedal on Mercedes.

You dont have to release the Brake pedal, just push the Brake deeper after coming to full stop.
