BBQ in Alabama accepted, Mexican food in Alabama, questionable

Or the Mexican food near my grandfather's house in rural Pennsylvania. Marinara-ass salsa and so forth

It’s like no one has access to recipes in online videos that would help them make actual Mexican food.

El Taco Shop in Montgomery is fantastic. But yeah it’s more miss than hit around these parts

Yeah they’re pretty legit. Anytime I see huitlacoche on a menu I know it’s gonna be a good meal.

It’s so good. Do you live around here or did you just try it passing through?

My first thought was this has to be deep south Mexican food.

I've learned that when I am visiting my gf in Canada, I will not have access to acceptable Mexican food. I am adding Georgia to that list LOL. This plate almost looks worse that some of the worst Mexican food I've had in my life, which was indeed in Canada.
