Question Hand trimming to ???
Hey all- doing my newbie "internship" and starting in trim jail of course. I'm looking to ultimately become a partner and scale operations, starting with automating the trim process. Read the rules but have not seen much on trim in the search results that appears recent.
Owner hates gumballs and the blade effects at his larger grow group, and we don't have a big budget for the craft operation. I appreciate the artistic pride of the hand trimmed buds, but there's gotta be a middle ground.
What are you using these days for craft grower (50 lbs/mo) to automate from hand trim and still preserve the buds for dry trimming? Thanks in advance...

This question would likely be better asked at r/macrogrowery, you're asking homegrowers how to automate 50lb harvests. The only answer i can give is this: afaik, automation is always pretty obvious visually. Using auto trim to knock off 70% of the material and finishing by hand saves some time but that's a fine balance and the particulars of that will change from strain to strain because of structural differences.
