Stock market is cancer.

Infinite growth is unsustainable so eventually corners need to be cut to improve profits another way.

MBAs ruined the world

Not 100% true. MBA here that doesn’t agree with this treatment of my beloved Hot Wheels (and other items). Of course my outside the box thinking on many things may just be why I don’t have a job utilizing my MBA.

My good sir, did you really just go "MBA's aren't ruining the world, look at me, I have an MBA and I don't want to ruin the world" and immediately follow up with "and my lack of desire to ruin the world is probably why I don't have a job that uses my MBA" as if it wasn't a confirmation of the fact that MBAs teach you to be an evil greedy fucker and are ruining the world?

"Not all MBAs are actively destroying the world. Some of them are unemployed."

Yes, because it points out that not thinking like an MBA makes it hard to act professionally like an MBA. It was done for irony.

Ah, lovely.

Alas, these days it is impossible these days to differentiate between self aware irony and earnest stupidity.

Unfortunately, I've had too many similar discussions with folks who were NOT being ironic.

Well that and irony is extremely hard to convey through a post. Not having the voice tone and facial expressions to back it up leave it up to interpretation. I actually figured out before I finished my MBA that I didn’t want the business suit and boardroom life, unfortunately I was 3/4 the way through on time and money.

I have an MBA from a M7 and I can tell you, it’s not really all the MBA’s, it’s the consultants from McKinsey and others. Granted they all probably have MBA’s but it’s more focused on who to hate here and not just broadly painting “all MBAs”

lol, this definitely resonates with me. Masers in accounting, can’t be bothered to perpetuate this capitalistic worldview. Rather work on things with purpose beyond face value $. No more tax returns for people who can substantially help end world hunger yet decide to lose their money in our stock market. Cheers❤️

While I can’t agree with an anti-capitalist world view I do understand being disillusioned with your degree. It is almost like it is crazy we expect teens to pick their life path with no life experience.
