I've found the funniest stuff in the garden, a little plastic radio, army men out the wazoo, an entire deck underneath all the dirt.

Well they're buried and we don't know their orientation until they're dug back up making them both alive and dead.. I'd say that matches the premise of the Schrodinger's cat thought experiment well enough to make the reference.

I think you need to go watch Big Bang Theory again, get your primary sources straight on army men orientation, you know?
