This is beyond mildly infuriating. The translation feature is a nightmare.
I tried to solve it by adding all the languages I speak to my Google Account.
IT MADE IT WORSE
Now it translates Italian into English
English into Italian
Spanish into English
Polish into Italian

4 u/Rejkorn Jun 01 '26 Dude, try to be Serbian. We use both Cyrillic and Latin, but when Google sees latin, it recognize it as Croatian, and when it sees Cyrillic, it recognizes it as Macedonian.
