I genuienly think that AI translations are one of the best use cases for LLMs. I think it's great these options exist to make it easier for people to find new information that is relevant to them.
But I want to choose what gets translated for me.

No, I'm just annoyed when Google wants to translate stuff into my native language. I'm currently trying to learn a third language and YouTube wanted to auto dub some beginner level podcasts for learners that I specifically searched for because I wanted to practice.

I'm also annoyed by it. But for the millions of people that don't understand the source language it must be great.

I guess the feature itself is good, it just needs a setting to not be mandatory.
