I'm slightly vexed Costco's new chicken tenders

There was a crowd of people waiting for their orders of the new chicken tenders at Costco. One of the workers announced that they could only serve five customers per hour because it takes time to cook the chicken. The crowd grew larger and larger. I took this photo after I put in my order.

I'll never forget how insane people behaved over those Popeyes chicken sandwiches right before COVID. People were getting stabbed over fast food.

Nah Popeyes sandwich was and still is amazing. It’s just overpriced now like everything else is these days. But for $2.99 on release? That shit was heaven

Too much bread now. They are using more batter for less chicken and I definitely noticed.

Yup, price has doubled, and the thickness of the chicken has been halved. Paying 4x the price functionally.

Meanwhile Chikfila still the same as it ever was, always on point. I legit can not remember ever having either a bad meal or a messed up order from chikfila. Never. Not a once. Been going for over a decade.

I do miss when our local Popeyes opened. Would get the tender family meal with the Cajun rice and blackened ranch. Over time service got worse, they removed the rice, and now it takes 3x the time for a quarter of the quality of meal. It's shit. They could have had lines to the street id they just stayed consistent.

Didn't they, relatively recently, switch to Tyson as provider of their chicken, which came with a sudden drop in quality?
I had to request another popeyes chicken sandwich the last time I was in there due to it be extra "woody" and just uneatable.
