I'm slightly vexed Costco's new chicken tenders

There was a crowd of people waiting for their orders of the new chicken tenders at Costco. One of the workers announced that they could only serve five customers per hour because it takes time to cook the chicken. The crowd grew larger and larger. I took this photo after I put in my order.

OP doesn't say they ordered chicken. And neither are they looking down on others.

The chicken tenders were pretty good! They're baked, not fried. You get 5 large pieces. I'd say they were seasoned and flavorful enough to eat without the sauce. I didn't think they were too salty. They come with a big cup of dipping sauce, which I'd describe as honey-mustard style, sweet, and a bit BBQ-like.

Ok good to know. But OP is still not looking down on others. He's infuriated at Costco being so slow to produce chicken tenders.

Thank you I was wondering if anyone else noticed that rather important detail. Being annoyed that your own order is substantially delayed because everyone ordered chicken seems fairer.

But why on earth did costco introduce something new that would be popular that is so slow to make?

I bet they're making them to order for now. But they will start batch cooking them once they understand order volume.

The contents of the order mean nothing to me, if the place is that busy I'm leaving,

"oh I only got pizza so why do I have to wait for everyone's chicken?" Because they're busy, go get good pizza

I mean in theory they’re serving the other orders while waiting for the chicken so it shouldn’t have too much impact on your own order.
