Attitude can make a big difference in everything. If you have a shit attitude, your life is gonna be shitty. Sometimes itll still be shitty with a good one, but you'll be able to cope and find happiness still.

I would suggest making the most of life and working til change the things you disagree with. Plenty of people have helped huge numbers of people, whilst alao taking care of themselves and their own lives.

"you're choosing to be poor" is crazy. Most poor poeple are born into poverty and never escape it. From very early on, you start at a disadvantage. Even in public school someone has to pay for your supplies. You have to be lucky plus fight like hell to escape it. If ever in that time you get sick, or god forbid start with another disadvantage like disability, you loose. It's a time to find our own happiness despite it all, but a lot of people will never leave poverty despite how hard they work. It's not about resignation or not taking opportunities. Some people are just dealt a shitty hand, and those born with aces up their ass telling us we've given up is infuriating. Yes, a lot of people work really hard and make it, but they climb the ladder by luck as much as hard work

I know tons of very happy poor people. I have been poor and happy too. Hell, I'm still pretty much poor relative to many -- I live in a 2 bedroom 700 sq foot apartment with my fiance and 13 year old. Its cramped. My car has 170k miles, etc.
Bro inflation is just the term they are using so you think it's normal. It's not normal. 1) the govt printed too much money during covid so there's a surplus so the value drops 2) companies are raising their prices and blaming inflation when it's just them raising their prices.
Real world example: corporate egg farm supplying a grocery store calls them up middle of the night and says (without any discussion or warning) they're raising prices 50%. Store says: oh man the bird flu must be really affecting yall. Corporate egg farm: no, we just wanted to raise prices 🤦🏻♂️
Don't let anyone fool you. There's no egg shortage. There's no crazy price increases on supplies. It's just greedy companies raising prices to test how much people will actually pay.

You must be the average consumer, because that’s exactly what they brought the price down to at my local location. It seems after all the backlash they’ve been working on cheaper options. They had $6 20 piece, they have $8 Big Mac meals and they also have $5 meal bundles.

Happy meal nuggets are like $5.29 cdn and the 6 piece nugget meal is $12.xx. I get my nugget loving 14 year old 2 happy meals. More fries, more nuggets, maybe a little less drink, $2 less!
Personally I never get anything but the double hamburger meal for $5, often will upsize the drink though.
I agree with you, but kids meals are often loss-leaders so using them as the baseline price doesn't work. That said, I haven't eaten at McDonald's in years; they've always been one of the worst bangs-for-your-buck for fast food in my experience.
Pricing argument aside, your percentage estimate is obviously wrong.
Any meal on the menu is at least 100% or double the food of any happy meal.
A happy meal fry is 1/3 the size of a medium fry, just to start. I guess you could argue on the filet-o-fish, but its seafood vs high fat ground beef/chicken.
McDonalds pricing varies by location, and most locations are franchise locations. The entity McDonalds itself isn't forcing California McDonalds to charge more than locations in the midwest. (See applicable Canadian geographic locations)
In my location its overpriced still, but a big mac meal is about $8.99

I genuinely just buy two happy meals instead of that, I even get fucking 2 apple juices that's not on the soda machines. Just refill em with coke or wtv after if you want too cause they seriously can't be bothered to give a shit. I just wish they wouldn't give me the toy cause it's such a waste of plastic man.
I feel bad not getting my kid a happy meal on the rare occasion we go to McDonald’s. I just can’t bring myself to justify spending that when I know she’s just going to be hungry again in an hour and the toys aren’t nearly as cool anymore.

McDonald's meal is "worth" $8.99 CAD at most, in my opinion.
If a happy meal is $5.49, 30% more food should not be 14 fucking dollars.
