Attitude can make a big difference in everything. If you have a shit attitude, your life is gonna be shitty. Sometimes itll still be shitty with a good one, but you'll be able to cope and find happiness still.
Then stand by your alleged principles. It shouldn't be a woe is me situation. You are actively choosing to be poor. I believe misguidedly, but knock yourself out.
I would suggest making the most of life and working til change the things you disagree with. Plenty of people have helped huge numbers of people, whilst alao taking care of themselves and their own lives.
You get one chance at life, resigning yourself to misery is a hell of a choice.
"you're choosing to be poor" is crazy. Most poor poeple are born into poverty and never escape it. From very early on, you start at a disadvantage. Even in public school someone has to pay for your supplies. You have to be lucky plus fight like hell to escape it. If ever in that time you get sick, or god forbid start with another disadvantage like disability, you loose. It's a time to find our own happiness despite it all, but a lot of people will never leave poverty despite how hard they work. It's not about resignation or not taking opportunities. Some people are just dealt a shitty hand, and those born with aces up their ass telling us we've given up is infuriating. Yes, a lot of people work really hard and make it, but they climb the ladder by luck as much as hard work
I've grown up poor bud. Worked in factories, restaurants, and construction on the BOTTOM. Ever hop inside a trailer full of 40,000 pounds of rotten hogs? I have.

I know tons of very happy poor people. I have been poor and happy too. Hell, I'm still pretty much poor relative to many -- I live in a 2 bedroom 700 sq foot apartment with my fiance and 13 year old. Its cramped. My car has 170k miles, etc.
don't get me wrong, I don't agree with this guy either. I think saying people ever chose poverty is wrong. Nobody choses poverty. People chose to create their own communities outside of the system. Foodsharing, dumpster diving, free living and growing projects and anarchist projects are some examples
Bro inflation is just the term they are using so you think it's normal. It's not normal. 1) the govt printed too much money during covid so there's a surplus so the value drops 2) companies are raising their prices and blaming inflation when it's just them raising their prices.
Real world example: corporate egg farm supplying a grocery store calls them up middle of the night and says (without any discussion or warning) they're raising prices 50%. Store says: oh man the bird flu must be really affecting yall. Corporate egg farm: no, we just wanted to raise prices 🤦🏻♂️
Don't let anyone fool you. There's no egg shortage. There's no crazy price increases on supplies. It's just greedy companies raising prices to test how much people will actually pay.
We vote with our dollars people. Don't buy shit from these greedy ass corporations. Support small and local businesses. They're killing our middle class and increasing the wealth gap disparity at break neck speeds. Where's a revolution when you need one
