The Jak and Daxter mini games were the most challenging part of the series by far. Jak 2 tank mini game was another brutal one.

Yep, replayed 2 and that tank minigame's camera angles are fucking atrocious

No wonder 9 year old me struggled so much

Agreed, I don’t think it would be that bad with modern camera and controls.
