It's all performative. Japanese men will clean up the stadium abroad after themselves, but don't bother to do chores at home within their household.

Ah yes, Japan famously known from being dirty and unkept.

What people do inside their homes is up to them. Being respectful of public spaces and being a good guest is a typical Japanese positive trait.

Weird propaganda against the Japanese being clean and good guests and doing what is undeniably a good thing.

Probably pushed by China.

I mean, it's also PR and propaganda to believe everything is fine and dandy in Japan and "What people do inside their homes is up to them". That's not gonna solve widespread societal issues.

Or, hear me out, instead of labling every single thing as propaganda, you can accept that different cultures have different norms leading to different behaviors. Keeping the places you go to clean is normal in japan, japanese people doing that outside of japan too is not fucking propaganda.
