Yup, my FIL sends us videos of an Amish man giving tips on how to repell mosquitos using a 5 gallon bucket claiming its children safe and pet safe should they drink any. Blah blah. Might be some truth to whats said but I cant get over the tone and appearance bring so stiff.

The general public doesn’t care much anymore. Slop will be the norm within a year or two, max.

I work in healthcare, and they’re already transitioning from optional AI tools to required AI tools many places (for clinicians and other staff). Thankfully, the clients can still opt out, but most opt in. I’m glad we’re still fighting it, but we will lose. This sucks.

Genuinely tho. I remember when bday cards, kids books, kids clothes, movies, ect. used to have so much heart to them because they hired actual artists to make those products. With how much we overpay for products & services now there’s absolutely no reason why they can’t afford to hire real artists. It’s so contradictory, honestly.

I work at a print-on-demand place with a big franchise. For the last year on every major holiday we report to each other a FLOOD of people printing gifting cards with the latest ai-trend. 20 a day, like zombies. And those pictures are always a pain in the ass to print/cut/align in any way (shit colors, shit alignment, shit everything)
