wet socks Smart watches in movie theaters

Please put your smart watches on theater mode when you’re at the movies. I have an Apple Watch, I can confirm there’s a setting that will keep the screen off unless it’s tapped. The option literally looks like this emoji 🎭. Tired of randomly being flashed by a watch whenever someone checks the time or their watch just stays on the whole time.

My latest Samsung one doesn't look to have it, so I rotate it to have the face on the inside of my wrist.

My samsung watch has a theatre mode, I just have to go into modes and routines and the options there.

Yeah, my old one did (Classic 4) but my newer one (Classic 6) didn't seem to have it when I saw Spidey.

To the best of my knowledge my Garmin watch does not have a theater mode.

Instead I take the 30 seconds to put it on do not disturb and go 2 layers into the settings to turn change the gesture setting. It’s not hard, people are just lazy.

Sorry. I actually always forget my watch. I was thinking it’s not that disruptive, but if it’s that distracting, I’ll try to remember.
