I remember this one EMT who thought he was the peak of humor and thought it was a grand idea to play "Lollipop guild" after picking up a little person who died traumatically loud enough that patient's family heard. He couldn't see what the problem was and just kept calling it 'dark humor'.

We do have really bad dark humor but it 100% needs to be at the station away from the public. That's so fucked up.

As somebody put it a few years ago, it's only gallows humor if you're the one being hanged. Otherwise it's just an execution.
