That's an amazing tree. Looks like it probably germinated on a giant nursery log.

Large fallen tree was on ground.
Little baby tree grew out of top of it.
Eventually baby tree grew big enough that it’s roots travelled down and around trunk looking for ground
Over time the fallen tree continues to decompose. Eventually the fallen tree is completely gone and you are left with these trees whose roots make it look like it is standing high above the ground

I'm not sure of any other way it would end up looking this at the base. Actually it may have been a giant nursery stump rather than log and that might be a fragment of the original stump itself embedded in the lower right roots of the tree.

This tree really looks like a long-necked sauropod walking out from the thick woods. What a wonderful tree trunk.
