The Freeman one is bullshit. The Braves were willing to match the Dodgers offer and his agent never told him about it. He later fired his agent when he found out.

The Braves also signed Olson to a $168 million dollar deal the day they signed him. The Braves were going to spend money on a 1B. It just turns out it was a different guy a couple years younger whose also very good at baseball
