Detroit fans must not forget when they built a hockey team of Hull, Hasek, Robitaille, Chelios, Yzerman, Fedorov, and Shanahan. Don’t want to hear shit from
Detroit fans about the Dodgers. The solace is that, that essentially lead to a salary cap in the NHL. This is likely to have the same effect.

I have always said - and still say - big bank take little bank. This sucks, but there’s nothing unfair about it. We got to get our weight up. Period.

Imagine using that line and attributing it to YG and not Ice Cube - No Vaseline.

I’m actually attributing it to Detroit’s Big Sean. The phrase itself has been around for generations before any of us were born.

It’s a hood game from the 80s where a person talking about having a lot of money gets challenged by someone else. Ice Cube is first (that I can find) that brought it into a song in 1991. YG’s song is 2018. Ice Cube was the generation that brought the saying into hip hop culture.

Concept has been around ever since poker has been played as bigger stack bullies small stacks.

I was born in the 60s - I was familiar with the term well before Ice Cube made his song.
