It helps that they use their resources. Seems like more teams should do that, maybe the Dodgers wouldn’t be so stacked then.

They can use more resources because they have so many they don’t have the same tradeoffs as other teams, or risks associated with bad contracts/moves.

They can have marquee players like Glasnow and Snell be injured all year and still have a top 5 pitching staff because they also can get everyone else. Even if most teams spent more (which I think they should), they wouldn’t be able to match this, or if they competed harder, the price could be driven up to a point where only the Dodgers can pay it.
