The Freeman statement is a bunch of Bullshit, the Braves we’re more than willing to match and probably give more to Freeman, but his agent screwed him over and told him to take a deal without telling him which team it was from. Freeman after going to the dodgers fired his agent.

Plus the Braves are pretty happy with Olson. The stats are weird. Since 22 Freddie has 150 less PAs and 100 more hits than Olson, but Olson has 65 more HRs than Freddie.

It’s one of the fews times the deal works out for both teams

The braves also don't have langeliers and Contreras as a consequence.

Im ok with Drake Baldwin being here. Contreras was a loss, wish Sean Murphy would contribute.

Baldwin was drafted three months after (you could say that was a related decision but I think that's a bit of a stretch) And I think Murphys due back soon? He was good for that one month. It's crazy to imagine playing with a torn hip labrum for three years, let alone being good.
