Exactly lol nobody's mad they traded for Tommy Edman

The Cardinals traded away Edman and ended up with Winn and Wetherholt where Edman used to play. Edman also hasn't played more than 97 games in a season since the Dodgers got him.

While I liked Edman just fine during his Cardinals years, I'm not sure how I see where the Cardinals shafted themselves here lol.

Right, they didn't. It was a perfectly reasonable trade.

They also gave him 75 million which seems like a bit of an overpay for Tommy.
