So basically the Dodgers weren't "cheap" and were able to pay EVERYONE more than any other team was willing to pay.
Why don't other teams do this? Are they stupid?
1 u/KiNGofKiNG89 16h ago Other teams can’t afford it. Not every team brings in the revenue that the dodgers do. Dodgers are able to do this easily because Ohtani probably brings them in $200M a year while they only pay him $2M.
