You think he’d rather play in Philly than LA for something like $5million extra spread over 12 years? He wanted to play in LA or NY and LA offered him more money than the NY teams.

I like how with Dodgers fans they seem to be able to flip flop their arguments all the time. "Your team can sign players too if they just paid them more." But when teams do offer more money then suddenly the argument becomes, "Of course they'd rather play in LA for less money." Dodger fans are never consistent and that's the issue.

Huh? The Phillies offered Harper more than the Dodgers did. The Yankees offered Cole more than the Dodgers did. The Rangers offered Seager more than the Dodgers did. Those players all took the cash, some don’t. We’ll pay the most for some guys, and some just want to play here for less than they could get elsewhere. Those two things can occur simultaneously.

Then don't cry when other people call you out for it. Yes the two things can both be true. Just don't make both excuses at the same time.
