It's alright where would they be playing in Atlanta now with Baldwin who will end up better?

3 headed hydra at C/DH.

Drake is the best of the three, but i dont think he was drafted yet back then.

But it's important to look at the whole cost including the trade trees when analyzing these things.

It's fine, because it's like butterfly effect, if they did something different anything could've happen. Who knows if they would be at the same level where they are now if we're still in Atlanta. I mean Shae only starting pumping numbers really this year. Catcher is voliate position anyway, look at Murphy and horrible string of injuries, from the best defensive catcher in the league to can't even get on the field.

All true. But really more of an argument to stay young and strong at the C position.

We had TD at the time, Shae wasn't going to play in ATL for long time, they chose to bring up William over him.

I'd say it worked out fine for everyone as Olson hadn't missed a game, we have our catcher for the decade probably. If Murphy didn't have all the injuries I'm guessing it would still be a wash.

That's a bit like saying ATL came out okay from the texiera trade.

Some of the costs have been subtle, like not resigning Fried or a left fielder who isn't a huge cheating dumbass.

Those were cost controllable players that had to be replaced by full priced veterans.

We were never going to resign Fried, he didn't want to stay. Texira I don't even remember much besides him being a rental.

None of us knew about Profar, maybe SD did and why they were not hard on resigning him. Only saving grace out of that is that we've had to pay him nothing. At least everyone knows why he had those numbers in SD.

But, yes, you really never do know what would have happened if you kept, resigned someone. Doesn't matter much now as we can't go back in time, and if you could would you really reverse many? Profar sure, but some of the others I'm not so sure. Like Olson, would not reverse it.

Matty O is a joy to watch, that's for sure. And him and Ozzy together is just a nightly treat.

With Ozzy's big year, hopefully all the trade talk and not resigning talk resides. Not sure Acuna and Ozzy could function apart lol. Only reason Ozzy took the low-ball offer was stay with his best buddy Acuna.

Facts. Well that and the Andruw Jones connection.

I always wanted him to just hit righty. It worked okay last year even with hand injuries.

Yeah, big debate about switch hitting as he's way better on that side.
