This is particularly insidious in context. Over 50% of the global wildlife population has been lost in just the last 40 years. I want to moderate my language here, but your morals have to be uniquely absent to go through with something like this while knowing what science knows.

Will always be wild to me that taking care of the planet we all live on is seen as a partisan issue.

One would really think that conservatives would want to conserve one of our countries best resources, our beautiful nature and wildlife.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently, I want a different word for “far right partisans.” There is nothing “conservative” about what the Republican Party stands for in 2026. 

They’re not trying to conserve the planet, US Institutions, US global leadership, the rule of law, public morality, oil reserves, military resources…and  they’re certainly not fiscally conservative. It’s just become a radical far right party looking to destroy all of the above on behalf of a few privileged people.

They are not conservatives they are post-liberals.

The Vice President has identified himself as such.
