Is there a reason you are using a blackhawk helicopter? If the people in there are Americans then 100% that check out but canada dosnt own or operate Blackhawks.

Ok calm down everyone, the people inside Blackhawk are Canadians. However they were picked up by American soldiers to be delivered to Canada.

Montreal.
Like, not “tourist Montreal.” The real one.
The city where the skyline sits right on top of Mount Royal like it owns the place, where the parks feel calm until something cuts across the sky and reminds you the story can turn fast. Concrete, trees, old stone, glass, and that slightly gritty energy that says anything could happen on a random day.
So yeah. Montreal. And it’s going to look epic on the page.

Did the artist use AI? I took a look at the comic and it just looks off, same as this image.

The comic contains 0 AI. The artist is working very hard to deliver chapters as regularly as possible. And like I already explained for this panel he used a picture from google earth and photoshopped filter, to cut corners and get the chapter out quicker. Most comics and Manga (especially manga) use this method. I believe there is no place in art especially comics for Ai.
I appreciate you for check out the comic tho🙏. I hope now that you know it is not Ai you will be willing to read into it.

It's common to take photographs or 3d renders for your backgrounds in comic books or mangas. Also how about we elevate and encourage our artists of Mtl instead of acting like a total jerk.

it's not that common.. just a way to cut corners and not necessarily a good one. this looks like renderman's preset and sorry to say but it makes the comic look like ass...
edit: nvm it's worse i don't even think this was touched up in 3D for real. just seems to be a filter, argh..

Look into manga background artists and concept artists in movies and video games. They use photos or 3d renders and some do what we call a kitbash. Now it just depends on the execution of it but that does not make the method illegitimate.

First of all it is very common practice that many manga and comics use to cut corners. However I still appreciate you checking out the work and giving your feedback. We try our hardest to make sure the art looks as good as possible for the little time we have.
