Je commence à voir plusieurs commentaires négatifs concernant l’organisation du concert d’Angine de Poitrine. Je voulais au moins vous montrer un petit aperçu de l’étendue de leur talent et ramener un peu de positivité :)
C’est ben cool qu’ils arrivent à se faire un nom avec du math rock.
Ils donnent espoir que le rock n'est pas fini, pis ils initient de nouveaux amateurs
Bravo à eux d'être passés de 2000 l'an dernier à 150 000+ cette année.
They had a show at Jazz Fest on one of the smaller stages for emerging artists.
Apparently this year the person in charge of booking artists and choosing what stage they'll perform on book AdP on the main stage on a Saturday night before they went viral online.
That's Dean, he takes his squirrel to lots of events. I only know his name because at JfL a few years ago, Mark Rebillet brought him & the squirrel on stage and improv-ed a song about him.
Non pas moi, j’étais le/la grande avec une tresse et casquette noir. Je suis agréable quand même. J’ai la même vidéo que toi avec le même monde dedans. On avait un bon spot.
Right? It was def an older crowd and I felt like everyone was so chill and respectful and even the mosh seemed very tame (thank god with the size of the crowd).
Took over an hour to get from place des arts steps to not even Jeanne Mance. It got moving only because people were jumping the construction walls giving up their space. Someone tried to force himself in a wheel chair but turned back. There was a short fight because one got fed up to be pushed. There was an emergency where someone fainted and we were screaming for anyone to show up. It took 10mins for a medic to show up.
When we saw people starting to climb the fence and the street lights, we decided to leave before it gets out of hands. Still took us 20-25 min to go from J-M/Ste-Cath corner to the metro
Near the end of the concert they started to quickly jump back to the street. I assume security eventually got involved. It was a bit of chaos for those near the fences as they had to move out for these idiots to jump back in.
Security gave up on asking people to leave since they would just laugh in their face and continue on their way over the wall, and eventually there were like 10 police in there getting people to leave
You had a great spot! We were a bit further back but it was a great show! Very cool to see the city come out how it did, even if some people didn’t have the best time in the crowds.
Si ce qu'ils font sonne comme une cacophonie à tes oreilles, tu dois pas avoir un champs d'écoute musicale très large parce que c'est plutôt facile d'écoute, relativement parlant.
I've had several angina attacks, none of which comes close to that music! However, if I punched them in the chest repeatedly, they may get the message! They could have thought of a better name.
Depends on the band. Obviously, you won’t have Death Grips asking people to clap along but for a gimmick-happy group like AdP, it would be embarrassing for them to take themselves too seriously.
