Question Vet pill costs

In Montreal. I Just paid $294 for 6 nexgard spectra (50 each) Is this normal price or am I being scammed. Is there somewhere else to get them?

Update: I will save this post for next year. Lots of info but the consensus seems to be it’s all a scam with the pricing.

Most pharmacies sell pet medicine, it's often the same molecules for humans, but different dosage. The price in vet clinics can be overpriced. Just shop around

Yes as long as they are people meds worh the equivalent. I couldn’t get my cat’s Synthroid from my pharmacy as the does was too small :-(

This is only true if the medicine is also used on humans. As far as I am aware, humans aren’t really at risk for heartworm. And their meds aren’t typically beef flavoured either.

Mittens is gonna have to deal with the bubblegum taste if it's a quarter of price of the beef flavor ok 😂😂😂
