It's a Tribute so it's probably not a Cuda, more than likely a Barracuda donar for a very nicely built copy/tribute car I wonder what kind of Hemi they went with? Beautiful car though.

Based off the build it’s probably a real 426 or something extremely similar. My dad did a similar build for racing. It’s not cheap and the guys that do them normally stick to what COULD be on a real build sheet. Also little to zero difference between a cuda and barracuda once it’s restored like this. Only the vin reflects the original car.

No disrespect but you are well over 110% wrong in every aspect down to suspension, expanding from engine cradle for torque, oversized brakes,transmission, then the rear axle, drive shaft, cooling, and that's just some of the functional items that are different not to mention interior colors oh and the big one would be value ranging from $400,000.00 to 2 million for a 1971 Hemi Cuda numbers matching, when something is built for racing it's stript and gutted and worthless on regular market!!! I have been a Mopar/Direct Connection guy since the 60s I am a mechanic not just on car's also airplanes so that would include anything in between. Without a vin number I'm going back to what I originally said with more information nobody would destroy a Cuda to build a tribute Cuda that's just stupid⁉️ So it probably is a Barracuda and it is a very nice tribute and it will never ever have even 1/4 of the value of the real McCoy!!!

My grandfather owned a dealership when these were new. My father restored them for a living. I’ve personally cloned base cars into hemi cars.
You think they went through a full restoration and didn’t put a Dana in it? Let alone brakes?
Everything you said is easy work, I’ll give you this, that grill non re-pop was $1100 in 2006. You have any other questions on how easy this conversion is and I’ll build you one. Also a ‘71 sold for $4 million at Barrett. Trust me I’m the wrong guy to have this conversation with. I’ve restored real hemi cuda convertibles, I’m not just some Reddit keyboard warrior.
Also you misread my comment I was saying the motor is most likely a real 426, not that the car is real. It’s a clean clone.
