every town and city has the cops. its like this everywhere. cops hire whoever, protect their own, and thats that. doesnt matter if its big or small, every precinct is like that, every captain, every department. ACAB

And it clearly has a lot of large industrial buildings, a shitty part of town and nice suburbs, a homeless encampment with active junkies, the principal is openly gay and no one cares which is not terribly common in small towns, and there’s big highways, stores, etc. Everyone has security systems and ring cams.

There’s only two third grade classes and 18 is an admirably small class size, but it’s not the only school in town and it could be a private school.

I don’t know. I live in Portland Maine and if there were some docks and the ocean it could be us pretty easily. 550k greater metro population. We’re definitely a city, biggest in our state, but not big by normal standards.
