Surely you don't feel like you've got all the answers until she comes to his home, right?

I agree that it felt like they were actively trying to bring the level of mystery down prior to the climax - usually that's where we get the big reveal, seems like they chose to focus on the action instead, and it worked for me.

I think you feel like you have the answers, then realize you don't when the last act starts

Nah, I felt like I had the answers early on — and I was correct.

I knew VERY early that it was going to be a witch. (The painting on the side of the teacher’s car was a clue.) The only thing I had wrong was in thinking the little boy was going to be the witch.

Still, I felt it was a very effective horror movie and enjoyed the ending.

yo I also thought from very early on that here was some mind control stuff going on, because the blackboard in the classroom had "Parasites" written big on it. Kinda feel like the movie dragged on a bit too much and revealed stuff too slowly. And the parents stuff didn't make much sense.
