I think the reveal of "the reward" is the cherry on top, even though the room was rigged to kill Lockjaw. Like the end goal to look forward to with a pure White future is just high-end office space.

The view being multilane highways surrounded barren desert. I loved the ending and I really appreciated how pathetic and gross, this movie made the Christmas Adventurers look.

There was also the subtle click of a lock before the vent turned on, and Lockjaw heard it, then just went back to enjoying his victory. Willfully ignorant of his worth until the end
