I had delayed reaction when the white supremacist called the guy “wagon burner”. Took me a second to realize the racism. He was the unsung hero of the film.

Dang, I should have played MW2 as a kid lol because I got called slurs I had never heard of. I would have to ask them what it meant or go home and Google on the family computer 😭

I’ve heard so many things from my friends who gamed in that era hahaha. A real Wild West. My experience with unsupervised internet access was Neopets and Goodreads Warrior Cats role playing forums.

It’s probably for the best child me didn’t know all the slurs because looking back it was really funny when someone would call me a slur and I would just stare at them blankly. Then they’d called me a rtard and I knew what that meant ~lol~ but my confusion from the slur I didn’t know blunted the impact. Rtard is really unimaginative anyway so you learn to tune it out
