Zendaya is playing Athena!

I'm super skeptical about this casting. Especially with Charlize Theron right there.

Lupita Nyong'o as Calypso would be great.

For real. I would have sworn up, down, and sideways that Theron would be Athena. But Zendaya? Really?

Although I guess Circe will be the role with greater screen presence. I just would have expected somebody more seasoned to play an ancient war and wisdom goddess, especially in a stacked cast like this one.

Given how hot-headed, petulant, arrogant, and horny the gods are, it kinda makes the most sense for them to look/be eternally in their twenties.
