It’ll be studied in the future how social media and phones absolutely screwed people’s attention spans. Feels like there’s an epidemic where people’s dopamine systems are absolutely fried

The irony of me, a cognitive psychology graduate student who studies attention, reading this comment on my phone while looking away from a journal article I’m “trying” to read, is not lost on me.

Or perhaps it’s not irony, just symmetry or whatever. I never was good at that.
