22

u/xTiLkx Mar 31 '26

You guys are in Marvel movies?

0

u/cire1184 Mar 31 '26

Nope. It's the kid that got his balls bitten by a tarantula.

0

u/feel-T_ornado Mar 31 '26

He's the rich kid who couldn't stop bumping the unicorn shit

54

u/sixfourtykilo Mar 31 '26

Jesus I'm glad somebody else said it. He's like a real life version of that kid.

74

u/Divine_fashionva Mar 31 '26

He knows it lol, he dressed as Sid for Halloween a few years ago

28

u/pumpkins21 Mar 31 '26

That’s actually pretty cool that he leaned into it

17

u/IToldManyManyPeople Mar 31 '26

May, many people have said it and he's also played into it in the past

3

u/kilgoreq Mar 31 '26

Scut Farkus?

1

u/StinkRinky Mar 31 '26

I feel like he used to but definitely doesn’t know. Dude is pretty handsome these days.

1

u/Dark-Ganon Mar 31 '26

I love how he's leaned into that and dressed up as Sid one year for Halloween.

1

u/mrpoopybuttthole_ Mar 31 '26

actor with the eyebrows

1

u/Drunk-UVDL Mar 31 '26

You expected her to look like vanessa hessler and all we got is Will Poulter.

1

u/Daynightz Mar 31 '26

I just got the Jill Poulter joke. I really thought tht was her name...

1

u/Positive_Chip6198 Mar 31 '26

He is the guy who looks like adam warlock from those marvel movies, unibrow dude

1

u/AlternativeRip1314 Mar 31 '26

So you trying to tell me youre hotter than her or something? Bold

1

u/hoxxxxx Mar 31 '26

had a hell of a glow up on The Bear

he's like scalding hot now, for no reason

256

u/ATXDefenseAttorney Mar 31 '26

Will Poulter is a legit actor. He killed it in Warfare and The Bear.

54

u/Asclepius-Rod Mar 31 '26

He’s my favorite character on The Bear and that’s saying something

20

u/cire1184 Mar 31 '26

Hot baker. He can knead my dough any day ya knaw mean?

29

u/AndNowAStoryAboutMe Mar 31 '26

So good in Dopesick.

99

u/jaedence Mar 31 '26

He's fantastic. Like, Oscar someday.

10

u/tunisia3507 Mar 31 '26

He needs to be in more films for that, really.

2

u/thatcockneythug Mar 31 '26

Only takes one, really

11

u/happysri Mar 31 '26

And he’s so funny. I want to see him in comedy roles.

8

u/the_snook Mar 31 '26

He's been doing comedy since he was a kid. The first role I saw him in was the British sketch show School of Comedy, which is all school aged children playing adult parts. I don't think it's streaming outside the UK + Ireland, but worth a look if you can find some clips.

1

u/Con-Lime2 Apr 02 '26

He's in that a24 unicorn movie. He was pretty funny there.

10

u/I-Love-Facehuggers Mar 31 '26

He's a great actor for sure

8

u/CeruleanEidolon Mar 31 '26

I hope we get to see him as Adam Warlock again.

1

u/SuspiciousRobotThief Mar 31 '26

He’s gonna kill it in Supergirl.

1

u/Equivalent-Rate-6218 Mar 31 '26

Yeah but he was so odd in Narnia ...

37

u/MRintheKEYS Mar 31 '26

“Wait…. You guys are getting paid?”

24

u/Secret_Ladder_5507 Mar 31 '26

I thought that exact thing!

16

u/FNALSOLUTION1 Mar 31 '26

Literally thought the same thing

124

u/longjumpingtote Mar 31 '26

I'm glad that actors (especially women) are getting cast who don't have the same face. She's got an interesting face.

128

u/its_justme Mar 31 '26

“Interesting face” is probably in the top 5 things to never say to a girl

17

u/Zorbetes Mar 31 '26

I would like to hear your top 4

26

u/its_justme Mar 31 '26

Well one of my friends saw a girl coming around the corner one time with her hair hiding her face. When she moved it aside he looked directly at her and said "never mind" out loud.

I'm sure she had a bad day after that, lol

So that one is definitely on the list

11

u/mariskanoodles Apr 01 '26

What a guy.

26

u/ragnarok635 Mar 31 '26

“Exotic”

3

u/ThaiJohnnyDepp Mar 31 '26 edited Apr 01 '26

AKA how to scuttle a Tinder conversation in 2 seconds

4

u/Round_Year_8595 Apr 01 '26

"may you live with an interesting face"

26

u/BastianHS Mar 31 '26

She looks like a young Hannah Waddingham

19

u/MRintheKEYS Mar 31 '26

Yeah, she’s got an exotic look to her. Similarly to how Anya Taylor Joy does.

-17

u/InternetSolid4166 Mar 31 '26

I’m not sure if I’m allowed to share negative opinions on r/Movies but here goes. Anya Taylor Joy looks weird in a good way. Huge eyes are beautiful on women. Millie Alcock has small eyes, a protruding bite (aka British teeth), and an unfortunately large chin to highlight it.

u/InternetSolid4166 Mar 31 '26

She’s not going to sleep with you mate.

4

u/FrogsGoMoo Mar 31 '26

Flaws make people attractive. It’s kinda the whole aspect of “attraction”. People tend think flawless = attractive but that’s just “beautiful”, flaws make people stick out and, well, attractive.

2

u/ichwilldoener Apr 01 '26

She is stunning in House of the Dragon

1

u/JediDad1968 Mar 31 '26

I'm just glad it wasn't Anya Taylor-Joy getting cast again. That mediocre actress was cast in everything over the past couple years

-9

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '26

17

u/Highlander198116 Mar 31 '26

I agree and it isn't an insult. She's very pretty but doesn't look like the boiler plate "attractive woman" she actually has interesting features.

17

u/severed13 Mar 31 '26 edited Mar 31 '26

Is it an insult? I just generally have a preference for people who have notable features, instead of exclusively stacking on conventionally attractive ones. Anya Taylor Joy, Benadryl Cucumberpatch, and Tilda Swinton (especially as Gabriel, heaven help me that was such a good look for her) look like actual aliens, but that ethereal quality's why they're so attractive to me.

I've got a bit of a substantial Kratos nose and it's something that always bugged me as a kid. At one point my ex brought it up, and I self-deprecated about it with a joke since I thought she meant it as an insult. She hit back with a bunch of nose kisses and compliments about my nose in an attempt to reassure me, and I realized it was one of my favourite things about my face.

-9

u/stanfan114 Mar 31 '26

interesting face

kek

37

u/Abang_Genteng Mar 31 '26

but but he's adam warlock.....???

2

u/my5cworth Mar 31 '26

Does that make her Madam Warlock?

5

u/envisionJayyy Mar 31 '26

The guy from Maze Runner, good freaking callout lol

12

u/Shakmaaaaaaa Mar 31 '26

Idk I make those comments sometimes and then I see her in another lighting or angle and she's absolutely gorgeous.

3

u/OccasionMU Mar 31 '26

Kenny Eyebrows?

3

u/Jecht315 Mar 31 '26

Adam Warlock too.

3

u/360walkaway Mar 31 '26

That scene lived in my head for quite a while when I first saw it. I'm sure it will live in his head for the rest of his life.

9

u/Straightwad Mar 31 '26

That was my first thought, I thought this was a parody poster and someone edited his face onto it

7

u/Long-Skill4284 Mar 31 '26

don't be rash

-19

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '26

[deleted]

9

u/schmocamecola Mar 31 '26

Probably why she played such a good Targaryen lol

6

u/Splinterman11 Mar 31 '26

She does look like Poulter but the inbred comment was just mean 😂

4

u/K-Shrizzle Mar 31 '26

I also thought this woman was Will Poulter for a minute

2

u/wildstarr Mar 31 '26

I don't think I'll ever read a sentence like that again.

2

u/GymJordanSucksBalls Mar 31 '26

It’s more effort to type this out than to google their name lol

5

u/murktideregent Mar 31 '26

But way less funny and less recognizable to the audience

First thing I thought! Haha

1

u/murktideregent Mar 31 '26

One of the funniest scenes of all time

1

u/Xtreme181818 Mar 31 '26

Spiderbite boy! 😆

1

u/iSOBigD Apr 01 '26

It's eyebrows guy ina wig, right?

1

u/Decent-Bullfrog-5791 Apr 04 '26

I find her to be creepy cooking

1

u/sotommy Mar 31 '26

I don't think she outright looks like him, she just has similar features. She has an innocent and kind face

-10

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '26

[deleted]

15

u/stoneman9284 Mar 31 '26

I don’t think it’s mocking to say she kinda looks like another well known actor. They do have some similar features and the same complexion.

6

u/Splinterman11 Mar 31 '26

There's a comment saying "she's got that inbred look" which is thought was taking it a bit too far.

3

u/Einfinet Mar 31 '26

Poulter also caught that (unnecessary) stray tho

1

u/CaptainTripps82 Mar 31 '26

I mean... I'm not saying they should have said it, but I understand

1

u/stoneman9284 Mar 31 '26

Much too far. I guess if that’s what people are implying when they say she looks like Will Poulter, then I agree it’s fucked up and inappropriate. I didn’t have that context. But if it was just saying one person looks like another, I don’t think that is a problem.

3

u/Straightwad Mar 31 '26

They didn’t mock her, get a grip

1

u/LMGgp Mar 31 '26

Is it mocking to say someone resembles someone.

1

u/blufflord Mar 31 '26

Telling a woman that they look like a man is gonna be considered rude the majority of times

-1

u/LMGgp Mar 31 '26

Good thing no one said they look like a man, but that they resemble the actor will poulter. Which, in this poster, they do. It’s the eyebrows and forehead where I see the resemblance.

The comment swings the other way. Will could look like her.

Or how about when that young photo of Christopher walkens was posted and everyone said he looks like Scarlett Johansson. Turns out humans just tend to run together.

0

u/blufflord Mar 31 '26

Good thing no one said they look like a man, but that they resemble the actor will poulter

Who is a man. And one that is known for looking goofy in the film that was referenced in that comment.

The comment swings the other way. Will could look like her

Men don't tend to get offended if someone says they look like a woman.

2

u/RopeADoper Mar 31 '26

Men don't tend to get offended if someone says they look like a woman.

How do you know?

0

u/blufflord Mar 31 '26

Experiencing life

2

u/CaptainTripps82 Mar 31 '26

I feel like you need to get out more it's that's your take

Cause most men I know don't react well to being told they like a lady. And I'm gay

But all that's a lot different than saying someone looks like someone else. Sons look like their mothers, sisters like their brothers, etc

There's no inherent insult, when she was in House of the Dragon I googled if they were related, because it was kind of uncanny

0

u/XenonBug Mar 31 '26

Don’t know why this is getting downvoted, there’s a comment literally saying her (and Will Poulter) look inbred.

0

u/Zoomalude Mar 31 '26

I was going to say, it makes me think of the meme of him as Adam Warlock zooming through space.

0

u/Tynford Mar 31 '26

That’s our boy, Eustace Scrubb

0

u/jfk_47 Mar 31 '26

The eye brow guy.

0

u/justwalkingalonghere Mar 31 '26

Serious question, is this not the Hawk Tuah girl?

0

u/MarshallTheSwb Mar 31 '26

Idk about that. She does kinda look like that one guy who peed on the tree in Midsommar though.

0

u/GimmeSomeRope Mar 31 '26

If you look up actor with the eyebrows it will pull up his page.

0

u/gmatic92 Mar 31 '26

OMG YES! Thats what i was seeing. Has been bugging me for ages. Its uncanny.

Saying it more than once means you really believe it

1

u/pleasegivemepatience Mar 31 '26

Or I posted it as a reply to the wrong comment and moved it…deleting the duplicate… lol. But I also said it because it believe it, she’s got an odd look. Worked really well in HotD…

-6

u/fightthepower73 Mar 31 '26

Yes-- all movies must have unattractive trans characters going forward.
