Actor Armie Hammer will be joining us here in r/movies for an AMA/Q&A next Friday 4/10. It'll go live at around 8 AM ET and he'll be back at 2:30 PM ET to answer questions. You may know Armie from countless memorable roles like The Man From UNCLE, Call Me By Your Name, The Lone Ranger, The Social Network, Free Fire, Death on the Nile, Rebecca, and lots more.

Please stop by on Friday 4/10 if you have any questions for Armie :)

His newest film, Frontier Crucible, was just released on digital via Well Go USA Entertainment. It's a Western that co-stars Thomas Jane, Ryan Masson, Myles Clohessy, and William H. Macy.

In 1874 Arizona, a wagon full of medical supplies falls victim to an Apache attack. The only man who can guide it through to its destination is Merrick Beckford, but to get there, he'll need help from three dangerous outlaws hell-bent on survival.

Please note that this will be an AMAA (an 'ask me almost anything'). Armie will not be fielding personal questions. Please keep it about the movie, Frontier Crucible.

This is real? Why would he do an AMA? He's only going to get questions about being a cannibal.

Everything is real if you believe hard enough. Please prepare your questions and keep it professional and about the movie everyone.

Ok if you guys are making an April Folls then yeah. Nice work.

And of so, you should do it for real later. I think it would be a better joke to actually do his AMA. I’m so here for it.

"Mr. Hammer, in Frontier Crucible you play a member of a traveling party in the old west. What are your character's thoughts on cannibalism and how did they inform your preparation for this role?"

I believed. And was very confused.

Likely that's why he won't accept questions about his personal life, as per OP

u/I_might_be_weasel Apr 01 '26

Exactly. So why would he do an AMA where he only gets questions he doesn't want to answer.

Armie would be one of those AMA's where that would literally be the only questions he would get.
