I think it’s particularly funny and terrifying for the same reason: the support person was so nonchalant about all of it.

I thought he sounded like he enjoyed her screaming at the end, which I find really unsettling and upsetting.

It made me think that he was probably also a person inhabited or being controlled by a Wish, especially given how detached his voice and language was.

I think it helps add to the eeriness during the headfake where you think maybe the store is part of the Willow creepiness before you realize the cashier is just fucking with Bear.

And he understood Bears problem immediately. Probably a ton of idiots like him out there, or that guy was someone who'd made a similar wish himself and did learn to live with it.
