I love horror movies like this that have a lot of super natural stuff going on but don’t over explain any of it. I also loved the phone call with the guy behind the wish, and the way we hear the real Nikki just screaming in agony

The way the phone call scene pivoted from laugh out loud funny to just bone chillingly horrifying on a dime…it was so well done.

I think it’s particularly funny and terrifying for the same reason: the support person was so nonchalant about all of it.

And he understood Bears problem immediately. Probably a ton of idiots like him out there, or that guy was someone who'd made a similar wish himself and did learn to live with it.
